Ricky started Digital Photography as a hobby in 2004. He fell in love with what a digital consumer camera can do. Curious and eager to pick up new knowledge, he bought his first DSLR camera later that year.

He attended various courses in Wedding and Fashion to understand technical aspects of each. He also attended seminars given by Overseas Photographers to improve his visual skills and widen his perspectives of Photography. Proved fruitful, he was also one of the top 30 finalists for the Photomarathon competition organized by Canon in 2005 in his first participation.

In mid 2006, he decided to give up his full time job of 7 years to pursue his passion. Being a young photographer in the industry, he also assisted in commercial and fashion photography with some local magazine photographers. He put in the best effort he could to each job attended, regardless of whether they are commercial, events, weddings and studio work. Being proficient in Digital Imaging, he is capable of adding the extra depth needed in the image.

Currently Ricky also an associate with foto-u.
